Walking down food memory lane

Hi guys,

For some reason I kinda started to make these small meals, if you can call them that. It is practically nothing more than my favorite danish dark bread, tho when it make it like this I actually don’t bake them in the oven. Sometimes it actually taste a bit weird, when the bread haven’t been in the oven for some time, lol 😀 This kind of meal is actually something that I can pretty much all the time and I sure do it as well! I always used to get this kind of food when I was a child and still living at home and now just looking at the pictures, makes me want it right here and now, lol. Unfortunately I can’t really make it right now, because all the stuff I have on top of the bread, most of that is actually in my freezer because I’m actually never really home, so most of the time other ppl bring me food when I’m at work (I have the best customers, lol) Actually, I won’t even complain about it, not only because it is super sweet of them and everything they bring me is much appreciated, but also because, everything they bring me is super healthy and I literally feel full the rest of the day or night, when I work down at the bar. But sometimes it really is nice to go back to ones childhood, thinking about all the delicious not so fancy food you constantly had when you came home from school or sport. No matter what I have on top of my bread, I always need mayo on top, lol. Do you guys know what mackerel is? It’s some kind of fish as well, that is actually the only thing I almost never put mayo on myself, because it is already mixed in between with the fish, lmao.
